Vindication
Ahhh sweet vindication. :23: :D
I now have proof from none other than Photography Review.com, that real cameras use FILM !! :D
To Wit: The Signature Line on the notification emails and site maps (see above) clearly say "Photography & Digital Camera Forums", and since Photography is identified as a seperate Entity from Digital Cameras by the use of "AND" the only logical conclusion is that Photography is not Digital therefore True Photography must be FILM!. :D :wink:

Re: Vindication
I thought only pewter plates covered with bitumen were the only real photography.

Re: Vindication
You can think whatever you like. But I am the boss, I wrote that, and I haven't used a film camera for years :-P

Re: Vindication
I think every one should dust off the old film camera and go shoot a roll. It's the anticipation of not knowing if you nailed the shot? Don't look at the back of the camera after the shot because it you won't see the shot, you have to wait:-)

Re: Vindication
Thanks for your comments, and especially your support (of sorts ) Jimmy.
This thread was probably my last dying protest against "Digital", (but not against Nikon :D) as I am going to get a Canon P&S to carry in my pocket. A lot easier to carry and less obtrusive than my SLR or Medium Format, which I love and will never give up. So while I have not actually crossed over I have moved up to the line :D
Now to the review pages to decide which one to buy.
Photo John, Thanks for a great site.

Re: Vindication
Lets make a deal.
If you will tell me how to load the "Mega and Pixels" into my new computer with a lens, I will tell you how to transfer the film files in a camera without a USB port. :D
