    Utah Trip Pt 1
I'm finally getting around to editing the non wedding photos from the past 2 weeks, re structuring my Lightroom catalog, breaking it up into 5 catalogs, and a bunch of other stuff.

My Sister in Law got married on 8/9 in Oakland, CA, and they were having an open house the next weekend out in UT. She was also graduating BYU the day before the open house, so she was going to have a busy week. It also worked out since my parents live out there as well, so the wife, 5 month old, and my friend all packed up & drove out to UT for a few days.

#1 Pick your drivers carefully, some are crazy!

#2 Self portrait on the way to Reno, where we were spending the night

#3 Thats how you want your kids on an 800 mile drive!

    #4 Welcome to Nevada!

#5 We pulled over at a siding/small yard, and got tons of train pics while the little guy was getting some food

One of the things I love about Utah is there is no poison oak. There is some poison ivy. But it's very rare and I'd be surprised if you encountered any. I think what you have here is a picture of a plant that's related to Oregon Grape. No need to worry about the oak here. I haven't had it since I moved away from California. It's a wonderful thing :D

Good stuff Scott. Thanks for sharing the trip with us. Love that shot of the kids. And I agree it's one of the hardest you'll ever try.
