Yeah it can be kind of a neat effect in the right situation. If you back it down a bit it is still usable on the D700, but I am drooling over an ultra wide that is designed for the full frame camera.

The widest that I have is the 24 70 but have the Tokina 11 16 2.8 and the nikon 14 24 in my cart at Amazon want the Nikon but can't justify the $$. Tokina would probably be fine. Need to make up my mind and pull the trigger on one of these soon maybe fathers day :confused5:

I'm very happy with my Tokina and I've never heard a negative on them.

I did crop it a little and did a lens correction in PS. Or did you mean what is it? I think it's hay. But I am a suberbanite so I really ain't sure.

Took this a while back with my Sigma 10-20mm taken at 10mm on a Nikon D90. I have sold 4 or 5 of this picture at a 20x30 inch size framed. There is a 20x30 inch copy of this photo in the welcome center at the Gulf Island National Seashore Park in Ocean Springs as their main picture , Jeff

Thanks Greg. It doesn't have it here but if you could see it hung on the wall of the welcome center framed, double matted and in the 20x30 size it does have the wow factor there, Jeff
