    That is one neat truck, there is a lot of stuff packed in there. Kind of looks like an Airport fire truck. Were these guys fighting a fire or training. Sometimes we will flush out our hydrants, or just go out for training.

    Waiting for nothing to happen (they hope) at the DTM race, Hockenheimring.
    Partly a PR exercise for the volunteer fire service, but in readiness just in case...

    We do that here too, we always have a medic unit, sometimes two on hand. There is a fire truck staged somewhere around also. I served as a member of the NHRA safety safari for one season. It was the year John Force ran his funny car into the sand pit. I got to be on TV for a split second. My brother works the squad at mid Ohio road coarse. I am out of the Car business now. I do house fires, I don't like burning alcohol.
