    A tunnel of Spokes

I was in a Bike shop the other day , and they had a rack of about 30+ road bikes. as I walked by the rack I looked down the wheels and it was an amazing view. so I went out and got my camera from the car. but I couldn't quite capture the same view. here is the closest I got.and that was by stepping back as far as I could and then zooming in on the 2 or 3 hub.

    any ideas ?

Your eye would see a deeper depth of field than the camera does. Also, too long a lens flattens the view, too wide gets too much of the distant background into the frame.

This is a situation where the eye, and the ability of the brain to select what is viewed, differs from the camera. Shows how hard it is to shoot what you see sometimes.
