winter plumage eastern race palm warbler is my educated guess. I can't see the sides or the under tail coverts though ;) may be a pine warbler , though it doesn't give me that impession based on it's posture

    DO YOU KNOW????

Palm Warbler, Dendroica petechia, was my guess, but I admit that it was a book look for me.

well FL is loaded with them in winter for one, but they are early migrant birds , so leave in april usually. The dark lores(black area between the eye and bill) rules out nearly all other yellow colored warblers. The only genus of warbler that fits this "jizz" (over all appearance of the specimen) is indeed Dendroica. We can rule out prairie and yellow from the start! The vermivora genus has shorter tails , so that rules out tennessee. We are then left basicly with pine and palm. Palm are spruce bog nesting species and pine was named for it's habitat ;) This bird seems to have a softer tail than the rest of the image..... PALM warbler are costantly pumping their tails ;) The bird also appears to have a somewhat flat head.... palms are flat headed, while pines are round headed ;)

    PALM 99% SURE
