    Trans - what?
Someone turning their van into a pick up truck.

Have never seen anything like this before, not even at a car show full of concepts ...  :p

That's a pretty neat idea. I bet it rides a lot smoother than a pick up, and gets better millage! I have often thought of doing something like this with a small car, especially with the price of gas this summer. Something like a Chevette or an Escort. It would be great for hauling my lawn mower around in the summer. :) Yes, my neck is a little red.

I've seen this done to cars before, but never a van. I think I would rather keep the van enclosed. :p
Now I've got a "real" mini truck of sorts. It's called a Suzuki Samurai. Mine is four wheel drive, "and" can get 25 mpg. Just ditched the back seat, installed a bikini top, and VIOLA! Mini Truck.

I thought I was going to see a pic of globby yellow stuff....glad I didn't.
I have a ford courier pickup bed trailer with a canopy. Small, light, can be pulled by anything and I have a truck whenever I need it. I wouldn't be afraid to haul a refrigerator in it.
