    Tornado Damage
I think this is what's left of a mobile home. I went out shooting this morning and saw where the tornado in Rome had hit. From where I went it looked as though it followed a mountain ridge and bounced on and off of the ground. The biggest area I saw was about a quarter mile long and two hundred yards wide of total destruction. It looked very much like Joplin in mini form, tops of trees gone ect.
I didn't take a lot of pictures most areas are to hard to get to and also I think the people in the area are tired of others coming to look.
Just for the record I wasn't looking for tornado damage, just on my routine scouting for something to shoot.

Nature is always awe-inspiring. And that sign is hilarious - humor in the face of tragedy.

Nice to see they didn't lose their sense of humor. And, depending on who's swimmin', $6 ain't a bad deal!

You have to laugh to survive. Tornados are devastating, no matter how bad they are. A little over 50 years ago the Kansas City area (at that time county, but now is in Kansas City) was hit by a F-5 tornado. Many of the people there too had humors signs, like a Elvis cut out saying "I'm all shook up". Some may think that it is sacrilegious to make light or jokes about something like this, but it is a coping mechanism, and we have to laugh in order to survive. I looked up this tornado -- it was a EF-4, bad enough. I encourage everyone if they can to attend a spotter class, while you do not have to become a spotter, it is vitial information in what to do.
