    too late for window light
    But I thought I'd share.
    Rather old, these.
    One while my dad was still working, and one after he retired.

    My own developing, with my own chemicals, made up to formula form the Ilford book of photography.
    Both Zenith-E with 50mm f/2 lens.
    You can see in the later photo I improved a bit.

    Hey Paul, I really like these shots! And yes, the second one seems to have deeper shadows and better contrast.

    Your father is an extremely photogenic subject.

    totally awesome. They are both great just because you started chemically from scratch, not to mention they are of your dad. Handmade from scratch, you guided those prints through hundreds of possibilities to where they are now. Thats the way I think about negs. That second shot reminds me of the photography of Weegee. I had a book of his photographs and they had the same kind of feel to them. That is a timeless shot.
