    Three Shelters

The title comes from the story of the Transfiguration, specifically Peter's famous line found in Mark 9:5.

Peter exclaimed, "Rabbi (Teacher), it’s wonderful for us to be here! Let’s make three shelters as memorials—one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." Mark 9:5 New Living Translation

The Church of the Transfiguration in Buffalo, NY, was built in the Gothic Style in the last 1800s, the parish was shut down and locked the doors in 1991. The bells are still up in the steeple. The entire place is covered in animal waste, and fallen plaster.

    Re: Three Shelters

Alex, you are really good at your specialty.
I like the first one best with the person giving scale.
This must have been beautiful at one time. The detail and workmanship still show.
Was it a Roman Catholic church?
I'm amazed the bells are still there. Those things don't come cheap.
    Keep Shooting!
