    Fort Rosecrans Military Graveyard

At the Fort Rosecrans military graveyard in San Diego the day before Memorial Day 2014.

Edit - Another over compressed post rending by PR. The original is much sharper.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

the array of stones in the military graveyards make it fascinating, sad , but interesting

nice wide angle lens, you managed to keep the lines straight and level, not easy , nice DOF too

Thanks fellows. This is indeed an incredible grave yard, especially the way it overlooks the Pacific.

Here is another, highlighting a solider named SSG Paton, KIA in Iraq, 2007.

Greg, I like the second one better, there is a subject and it is surrounded by the rest of the image , without the distracting cars

Thank you for sharing these fine images on Memorial Day. I personally enjoyed viewing them. Unfortunately I did not get any photos this year.
