Here's one. The pumpkin crop seems to have been pretty good around here this year. Large piles of them around the farmstands.

These are pretty orange. Photographed at a local pumpkin field about 4 years ago which is now a housing development. Ricoh-500 (1959 rangefinder).

My big ol' belly reminds me of a pumpkin and I thought it would be pretty hilarious to paint it that way... but don't know that I could accomplish that in a mirror and my husband already thinks I'm nuts for even thinking of it... :)

Good thread for the season. I can't match the quality of what's been posted already but I'll play.

These are all very good pumpkin shots. There is something about pumpkins that is appealing . Not sure if it is from the association of Halloween and fun and candy as a kid. Or the spooky aspect that has become the pumpkin. It may also have to do with the Autumn, which is my favorite season, and the Season of pumkins. Good stuff.

Tried a few night shots of a pumpkin the other day. Not so crazy about the shot, but thought I would posat it for the thread.
