Tenth Anniversary

It has been ten wonderful years that I have been married to the lovely Dawn.

We spent the weekend of our anniversary in Myrtle Beach (our favorite vacation spot) and we had some friends come down and join us for part of the weekend.

I took very few photo's, but here is one for all of Dawn's fans.

Please note, being friends with me has it's perks. You and your spouse may get you an invitation to Myrtle Beach to party with me and the lovely Dawn!

Congratulations Brian. That is great. Bring her to the east coast for your fifth (or sixth, or tenth, whatever), and we'll put you up in the McCabe bed and breakfast to help you celebrate it. We'll take you to the beach, or better yet, take you out on the boat to Shackleford or Cape Lookout. You even know a decent photographer who will be glad to take photo's of the two of you frolicking in the sun.

Ten years, huh? Only feels like twen... - never mind! :D

If all goes well, we'll be spending our anniversary in Costa Rica on a service trip with our church.
Thanks for the invite! I'll keep it in mind, that same invite goes to you and "The Lovely Dawn" if you ever find yourself in Utah, all except the boat ride. We don't have a boat or live as close to water as you do.

In some ways it seems like we've been together forever. Which is a good thing. We know each other so well, and we respond in the same ways.

In other ways, it seems like we've only been together for days. Each day is new and exciting and I still can't get enough of her. Which is a very good thing!

On the other hand, I have no idea what she sees in me. I know why she's with me (the sex), but that doesn't explain why she thinks I'm good looking. Maybe love is blind, or maybe she's just pandering to me...

Well you do have a couple of years on me. I didn't even meet Dawn until I was 33. I was smart enough to marry her, but I was 36 then. Now if I can make it to 86, we can celebrate out 50th. A man's got to have something to look forward to.

What day was the anniversary Speed? Congratulations to both of you by the way. Adrienne and I just hit 26 years together on January 15. I guess you could add another 4 years of unmarried undergrad school to that, but it don't count till the preacher says it does.

I hit 10 yrs this coming December as well. We are going to celebrate by shoveling snow.

We don't get snow in December here in NC. If we get snow it's usually in January, and even then, there's very little of it. Maybe you guys should come visit us! We'll make sure your tenth is celebrated in style.
