Tell me what you think

Hi everyone,
Im new here and this is my first post, I have a fujifilm s7000 digital and a sony cybershot. Im a beginner at photography but im learning fast, I keep tropical fish and i love to photograph them which can be a bit tricky at times as you well know.

Well here is a photograph of a place called Dalkey island which is about a mile from my house. I would love your opinions on it good and bad, I think its a bit dark but it was a dark day.

First, welcome to PR ... great bunch of people here, so don't be afraid to post often. Your image is beautiful...with scenery like this so close to your house, it must be hard to go off to work. Suggestion for this one...if you wanted that person in the frame...possibly getting a little closer then using your flash would have brightened the subject up a bit while still maintaining the nice exposure on your scenic. Good first post.
