It has only been one day, but already I am a true Mac addict. There will be no mo' windows for this boy...

I have a lot to learn yet, but it is a great and wonderful thing. Once you go Mac, you never go back!

Almo, I know exactly what you mean.

But I'm really curious if you can put into words why?

I could go through all of the old cliche`s about more stability and better looks, but in the end the real reason is it just feels right to me. Windows felt clunky and just obtuse. I find the Mac os to be more intuitive, if not more user friendly. It's set up more like the way I think. I realized when I got this thing and started digging into it that I had been trained by windows to understand the way it worked, and through this brainwashing, of sorts, I was fooled into thinking it was simple and easy, and everything else was hard and even less technologically advanced. Man was I wrong. Mac has a definite learning curve when coming from a windows background, but there is just no comparision between the two. Now soon enough Windows Vista will be out, and from the Beta tests I have seen it draws heavily upon the Aqua GUI of OS X, but there is no way that it will come close to matching the meat of OS X. Remember my friends, beauty is only skin deep. And that is all you find with windows. Pretty skin covering the smae old ugly OS. I have been using this Mac OS for a day and a half and already I can see this for myself.

    Hope this answers the question.

You know the thing Steve Jobbs didn't get back in the 80's and early 90's was that even though he had the better product, Windows had the better look and cheaper price. Well the tide has turned in the last 7 or so years my friend, and I can assure you that Windows is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth. And with the future at hand it is only going to get better on this side.
