    Stunning LIFE magazine photos cheap...
Stumbled upon this web site in an ad in the "new" Life Magazine:

    http://www.lifephotographs.com/Main/home.html

They are offering digital framed prints of some of the most memorable Life Magazine photos ever for about $50 each.

Although they're small (8x10s) and obviously do not have anywhere near the value of original prints of the same images, I think it's a great way to add some fantastic pics to your collection at a very reasonable price...

PJ, this might be a cool thing to include in the pr.com holiday gift ideas... :)

Thanks for posting this - very cool and a great gift idea. Maybe I'll have to get this one for myself... :)

I've always heard that you can get prints from the Library of Congress for comparatively low prices too. Ansel Adams donated his work documenting the concentration camps here of Japanese citizens during WWII, and of course there's Dorthea Lange's work. Looked for that famous shot of the migrant farm worker and her children once but didn't find it.
