It's not often that you find an abandoned hospital in Ontario that still has equipment left in it. Most of the time it's quickly moved to another location or sold off. But this stuff is far too old to be of use anymore.
Also, fun fact, my dad was born in this hospital.
The original entrance, from the 1949 building.
Upon my rather awkward entry into the derelict hospital I find myself in the basement near Nuclear Medicine. Another un-boarded window shines a light at the end of the tunnel.
Most of the labs were cleaned out of equipment, a few pieces remain, like a box that holds an old centrifuge...I think.
How about that, an old ID camera, and a polaroid none the less! It takes type 100 pack film.
The 1949 entrance hall from the inside.
The chapel is now used for storage. There were a few song sheets left over.
There was even a cancer treatment area at the place, this is the waiting room.
Left-overs in an exam room.
The surgical suites were located on the 5th floor of the D-Wing.
One of the older operating rooms.
A newer operating suite, all of them were tiled with the institutional sea-foam green tile.
A left over X-Ray machine, I think.
On my way out I grabbed this one last shot inside the place.
