Pear blossoms in the backyard -

Not the best composition on earth, but I love the watery sunlight and the little shadow on the leaf it kicked up.

Two more. Still playing with the Lightroom 3 beta 2 release, thus the watermark for reference.

Here is a little different color. Most Iris seem to have more brilliant color than this one.

    Re: Spring Color 2010

The subtle range and the orange accent in the middle make a gorgeous bloom. Wonder if this was one of those 'expensive' iris? The last flower catalog I shot that was for two season ago had similar at over $30 each for plants.

Thanks for sharing this one. The iris have really been blooming here early this year!

Here are a few i took this Spring. Is it strange to carry your camera and tripod up to a Garden center and start snapping pictures? =) It would save me a lot of money.

    Purple Rain

or perhaps Lavender, the color, not the flower. A wet weekend but that doesn't stop me.

and 'new' color for me this Spring; let's call this Salmon?

those pink irises are really something, drg.
Here's one from before I went to California for a week. May, btw, is fantastic for flowers in CA. They've cornered the market on them. The proliferation and variety are mind-blowing. But I'm still working on them so this will have to do for now. It's a humble lily from my garden.
