    Spitfire

    A few from todays spitfire outing. Its ANZAC day here, Australia and New zealand's day to remember those fallen in war. This restored veteran of the Battle of Britain does, weather permitting, a flyover to mark this special day.

    Beautiful images hminx, one of my favorite WWII aircraft. I like that first shot, It looks like even when its on the ground, it dreams about flying

    Thanks guys, the ground is definitely not the spitfires natural element. Unfortunately due ineptitude on my part during the low pass, this is the best of the flying shots. The crowd of onlookers limited the ground shots.
