I think it's your grammer that is confusing.

    Re: Photograp in Melbourne

Maybe ozboyerp's first language is French?

I interpret the question to be that he wants to know if there are photographers in the Melbourne area who are interested in shooting some photos around the city or the countryside as a group. Kind of like the gatherings some of our other PR members have had.

Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong oz.

Absolutly, I didn't read back my message.
So it was maybe little confusing!
The second one certainly he is!

I am really passionate about photography as a hobby.

    Thank for that.

    Sincerely

    Peter

    Re: Photograp in Melbourne

I originally read the question and thought you were actually offering someone in Melbourne if they wanted a camera body, as if you were giving it away.

Not knowing your first language it was hard to guage what you meant, and as your username implies an Aussie person, who has lived/been to Palm Springs, Paris and Melbourne now, I still didn't get what you were asking, hence my question.

I think this would have been better had you asked "Anyone in Melbourne insterested in a Photography Gathering to take shots of Melbourne and its surrounding Suburbs" would/might get you some replies.

I don't think there are many members who are from Melbourne let alone Australia on these forums, I haven't seen many postings from them if there are.

Australia has a large number of photographic clubs and societies, but you might want to look here: www.melbournephoto.org.au to start with. otherwise check out the federation of camera clubs. As Peter said, there are not many Aussies on this forumn and Fewer from Melbourne (the weather is enough to keep me away) ...just kidding. Oh and on an international note, it is good to see that America has finally joined the rest of the world in calling Bogen Tripods Manfrotto, maybe they can do the same with cameras one day. :-)
