Sometimes your best models are relatives..
My sister is renewing her vows with her husband next weekend, and wanted some pictures of her daughter who will be the maid of honor.

Carly is a natural in front of the camera which makes my life easier. We didn't have much of a background, but we used a blanket which was held up by two people in back to create a seamless backdrop.

Thank you for sharing your good work with us!

Having a handheld meter is crucial with white clothing, and then I bracket even with digital to get it right. Once I take a sample image, it uploads to a computer where I do a test "development". The meter is almost perfect, so I only do this when it really matters.

I used the Mark2 for this image, and I used two strobes and a reflector to get the even lighting.

    Thanks for your note Penny.

btw..have you heard about your Mk2 yet?

The blanket saved the day, and usually it just covers a foldable chair to disguise it. It gives a warm feeling which is helpful.

    Thank you for the comment.

    Have a great day,

Thanks Charles. I am beginning to realize that I love taking pictures of children, especially at the weddings and just in general.

I won't stop taking pictures of adults, but it's a lot of fun.

Thanks for the comments on my niece and my work.

    Cheers,
    Loren
