Something or nothing.......1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX . This is a period correct "racecar" restoration. This is the famous "Jelly Belly" Plymouth.

I shot this as the car rolled by, was not prepared....I.Q. is not what you would expect from the 50mm. :D

I advised this customer 6 months ago...do your timing belt...recently, it broke. Now, I'm doing a complete engine. Honda VTEC.... Something or nothing. If you find a good "honest" mechanic...listen to what he says. :)

I'm the communications coordinator for a youth basketball club (volunteer). Responsible for a digital newsletter and hard copy posters , yearbooks. I am presently on a tight budget using a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT / 350D with Canon EF 50mm f1.8 II Lens. I am thinking of an upgrade to a CANON REBEL T2I W/18-55 EF-S IS and same lens as the 350D. Is it worth the upgrade or do I ave to jump up alot to make it worth my while?

A buddy did the valves on his R6 and got this part right, but he had the wrong cylinder at TDC. He got to do the valves again... I can't remember how he managed that, but manage it he did. Or he was lying because he completely forgot about the crankshaft. . .

Even harder on motorcycles...everything is so small.

VTEC Honda's are quite sweet to work on actually...

I'll share a handy tip with you... Mark everything, before teardown...then do the job, after it's all back-together... check your work like this.....to see...If it's right...Before start-up. :cryin:

    For example ... w/ #1 @ T.D.C. A four cylinder - rotate the crankshaft four complete turns.. if everything ( cams, balance shafts, crank) "line-up" to the reference marks....You nailed it. A v-6 ( 6 turns) A v-8 (8 turns) ect...

    Finding correct cyl ( # 1) T.D.C. is everything...:mad2:

The (holy crap tiny) focus plane on the first one confuses my eye. Too much on either side of it.
The colors on the second one really please my eye.

Been trying to do my own grooming on my dog, Sadie, for almost 3 years but the tangles and mats keep coming back so finally bit the bullet and took her to a groomer today. Was afraid it would cost a fortune but only $25 and about 40 minutes. I think it was well worth it.
Here are some before and after shots.
