So who has had a cheap camera?
I think this one cost all of £20.

    Camera make: MINTON
    Camera model: DSC-80M-52
Camera version: Digital Still Camera W/O LCD V052

All it needs is editing out of the streaks from the setting sunlight.

    What do you call cheap?
My D60 cost me about 86 Pounds (it was in a package with a much more expensive lens). Currently I'm using it mostly with the plastic 18-55 which I bought second-hand for 50 Pounds. That's a total of - ummm - 136 Pounds. Is that cheap or not?

Everything I put in my Prague thread was done with this combination.

You got a fantastic deal there, but not as cheap as I was thinking of.

    Nice images, and cheap too.

My camera was 800x600 max, and took a very strange paper-thin media card.
All went off to someone's child to play with.
And I moved on to a Mavica.
Which went off to someone as a first digital.
One day, I suppose my 20D will be a hand-me-down for someone.
    And the LZ-5.

Also...my first digital camera was a steal at $150.00, and a photo from that ended up as the cover shot for a national magazine.

Just a comment on that diesel: It's amazing how much mass you can put in a valvetrain when it doean't have to do any revs!!! Crossbar welded to the end of the rocker arm!!! Really??!!!?!?!

Cheap camera, can't help you. I had the cheapest possible 126 Instamatic back in junior high school, didn't even turn the flashcubes itself, but I have no pictures surviving from those days, sadly.

Cheapest SLR was a Canon AE-1 with 50mm f/1.4 brand new for $100!! Friend of my sister's got it for his birthday in 1982 or thereabouts, and he had no interest in it whatsoever. I offered him the hundred bucks as a joke, had it in my wallet for some reason, and he wanted the money!

I had a Kodak disk camera that was cheap, as in crappy, and a Kodak Z740 that was similarly poor, but it was expensive. My 30D was given to me so it was cheap in the best of ways. :)
