Snow in San Jose, CA
We got our once-in-a-few-years snowfall the past week, and I finally got time to head up to the top of one of the mountains and get some shots. Here are a couple that I came up with:
Startin off the drive (around 250ft above sea level)

A little ways higher up the hill, with one of my babies in the shot

Up near the summit (About 2800ft above sea level)

One of the probably ten guys on road bikes I saw while up there

Nice. Those cyclists are certifiable though.
I got caught out when friends took me up from san Diego up to Palomar observatory.
Sunshine and t-shirt to sunshine and jacket !!

What Road?
What road were those photos taken on? I went up to Saratoga Gap yesterday to get some snow ride photos. There wasn't any snow out in the open, which was what I was looking for. But I got some snow photos in the trees. It was 34 degrees - pretty cold to be out shooting in bike gear. It is cool to get this amount of snow here. To be fair, we usually get one or two good dustings in the hills, every winter. But this year we've definitely had more.

Isnt it awesome?! We've had snowfall for 3 weeks. Amazing. I can't believe the snowfall in the South Bay! These are really nicely set up shots.

Mt. Hamilton is almost 5000 feet, and they have it closed right now. So I don't think it was Mt. Hamilton. I'm guessing it was in the Santa Cruz mountains, back behind Cupertino.

Re: Snow in San Jose, CA
I thought I put where I took them at, then I remembered that I posted that info on MTBR instead :D They were all shot off of Hicks Rd & Mt Umunhum Rd. Elevation ranges from about 250ft to a little over 3000ft (From what I remember, so don't quote me on those elevations)
