    Sister Karen
This is my late sister Karen, we lost her about three years ago. I am currently scanning and restoreing old family pictures to make Christmas Photobooks. This almost makes me want to go out and buy a very old Kodak P&S camera. Anybody remember those four sided flash cubes. I remember playing with the spent ones as a child. Who make the best photobooks????

Very nice--and nostalgic! Uniform out of the past (in the table photo); old style end table; rotary dial phone! How I remember those days. Thanks for the memories...

I remember cubes and bulbs too. Bulbs were only good for one shot and I used them with my brownie.
I have a zillion old photos to scan but keep putting it off.
    You''ll be glad you didn't.

Wow - I remember flash cubes. Scary but true!
My first camera was a Kodak Instamatic that required them.

I used to play with flash bulbs, and cubes, trying to make them fire by hand with flashlight batteries. My first camera, the first one I ever actually owned myself, was a Vivitar with a built in flash. Now that was high tech for me in those days!

Even though I'm a youngin' (25 in 2 weeks) my first camera had those flash tubes. I always got in trouble cause I'd fire them off as fast as I could while looking straight at them :D

I was doing the same thing with my dads family photos. Its a blast to look through all of them and remember the good times.
