Tulip bokeh - Show me your Tulips!

It's Spring! As promised, tulips (yes, Adina I crawled around to get these).

Let's see what everyone has growing in the yard or nearby! The daffy's are in Critique and the gallery.

Oh, no power for the last few days, so work has taken all my 'computing' time as the generator runs only so much, and at work, well, its work!

Let's get started and - - On to the flowers!!!

    CDP,

Great shot! I'll have to check at the apartment for my back up of my tulip shots but love the shot!

It's hard to feel like spring when it's snowing outside though

This could have been taken from one of your tulips.

For the first time, I had about 2 dozen tulip plants with their flowers. We left town for 3 days, and they are all gone! Uuuugggghhhhh! Either it was Deer or Rabbits! That is part of country living though!

    Maybe next year.

Thank you all for 'playing' along with the tulips show.

Kathy - you've got to feed those critters to keep them away or put up little fences. Yeah, sure, it sometimes works.

Chunk - that does look like several around here! I don't remember the exact bulb name but if I can find what it was we might be able to compare notes.

Adina, I do like those you posted both here and before!

Jared, Any tulip is fine, they can be one's you just spot along the way. Thanks for the comments.

Anybody else with tulips from near or far ?

I wouldn't know one tulip cultivar from another. That tulip was found among a restaurants tulip bed.

Well, they are not as good as what has been posted so far, but I shot these at my Mom's over the weekend. They are from bulbs we had given her last winter.

I have no clue what this is. I just wanted to play with DOF and went out and took the shots.

that one's probably a daffodil. I just got a bulb catalog, and you would not believe the variety. I'm hoping to get some in the ground this fall.

It may be Spring where you are, but there are no tulips or any other flowers out yet where I am. As a matter of fact, the grass has just started to turn green in the last week or two.

Daffodil I think is right. Pretty good bokeh!

Tulip, Daffodils, bokeh, combinations thereof are all fine!

Re: Tulip bokeh - Show me your Tulips!

Sorry I'm so late on these. Just got out to do some flowers during lunch break and discovered that most of the tulips are about gone. So here's what I got. first is the march of the tulip bugs and the second is an expression of color and saturation. Hope you like them and that I didn't wait too late.

Re: Tulip bokeh - Show me your Tulips!

I posted this over in PC, but I really liked it for this thread also. So please excuse the duplication..hehe..
My neighbor has lots of tulips and I can frequently be seen skulking around her yard taking pictures of the different colors of flowers she has. I will post a few more later.

Chunk...I wish I could get my macros to look that good!!!!

I really like all of the shots, but I'm like srobb...hehe..I don't think mine are anywhere near the quality of most of these...hehe...oh well..I AM still learning, right!!! hehehe..
