    Sigma 17-50mm night photo

This was taken at 8:53 PM Friday night. I am standing with my camera handheld and no support over three miles away from this casino. I was standing in Ocean Springs on the beach and this was in Biloxi across the bay. Considering the conditions I though it came out very well. It has a severe crop from the original image, Jeff

    Re: Sigma 17-50mm night photo

The reason I posted this photo was to show how well my Sigma lens worked. I was at a cookout and bonfire on the beach for my wife's 40th class reunion and had this lens on my camera taking shots of her classmates on the beach when I spotted this across the bay so I grabbed a quick shot. To take this picture I would have normally used a much longer lens but thought I would try what was on my camera just to see what it could do. The more I use this lens the more I like it, Jeff

Great night shot Jeff! If you take into consideration it was handheld, Wow! It's exceptional. I love the moon.......
