    Show me your workplace!

Okay, I have this knack for starting threads like this that never seem to go very far. Let's see how consistent I can be.

The following are images from where I work. All were taken with my Canonet, by the way, from the very first roll of film I shot with it.

The first is the sanctuary to our church where I pastor:

The front of our Record Gazette building, where I work as a Graphic Production Artist:

My workstation, with a Help-U-Sell real estate ad in the making. Don't you just love my ergonomic workspace and state-of-the-art G3?

And our editor, Charlie Ferrell (l) and reporter John Daly (r) busy at work. Nice clean desks, eh?

Just two of the athletic fields I mow. Pics are a little outdated and the grass is a lot greener right now. I did not take these by the way.

Very cool, Z! I used to be a groundskeeper myself, for the city of Lodi (California). That was many years back, of course. But I used to love the work. We took care of our fair share of baseball and softball diamonds too. In fact, the fields in Lodi used to be a very popular place for girl's & women's softball tournaments from all around the state and even the country. Yes, this is the same Lodi as in "Stuck in Lodi" by CCR. :9:

    Nice monitor stand.

People get upset if you take pictures in my office...the whole proprietary information thing. It's stupid really, but what are you gonna do? I did sneak one on World Photo Day. I'll try to dig that up later.

    I can't.

I do graphics at a Big, Bullish Investment Bank in Lower Manhattan... and Enron, Ms. Stewart, Tyco, and a slew of lesser known scandals have created confidentiality rules (for all investment firms) so tight that I'm sure I'd violate at least 10 if them in the process of taking and posting the photos! So to maintain my employment status, I shan't show a thing.

However, I posted my work-in-progress new studio space for mtbbrian here:
    For MTBBrian......
However, creating in this room isn't work, it's pure joy!

This is where the REAL work (personal work) happens - a more user-friendly space than my employer (note road bike at right and beverage at left  ).

Will post where i earn the rent money soon...

Yep! Been pastoring Landmark Missionary Baptist churches here in southern California for the past 12 years.

If you ever find yourself way up yonder in Cowie, Stirling Scotland, be sure to go to 42 Doctor Campbell Ave. There you'll find one of our missions.

Love your work place Jimmy. As I think I've meantioned before I ran the family auto parts store for several years we also had a machine shop. I'm not a machinist but I hold them in very high regard. I appreciate your photos. I'm going to try and look up some old pics form the late 60's or early 70's of our shop.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
