I didn't read all the links but enjoyed the satire of main article.
I really don't know anyone, including myself, that fits 100 percent into any of the categories but they come close.

That's good stuff. The "Seven Levels of Artists" is pretty funny too.

"Amateurs almost always shoot Canon SLRs." LOL

I am somewhere between Whore and Artist LOL

Word of advice to those who haven't read it yet, start at the bottom (level 1) and go up from there.

Thanks for introducing that site...now I have a lot of reading to do.

I can think of a few times when that "measurbator" tag could have been useful recently. :)

"No one ever sees their work since they have crummy ability to promote themselves, and sadly, usually don't even appreciate their own excellent work. ...Good artists are usually too embarrassed to show their work to anyone unless you are intimate with them, since their work is their soul.

Artists use any sort of camera, including pinholes and disposables, or 8 x 10s. They use whatever instrument they need to create what they want."

ken cracks me up, he talks about how the camera doesn't matter, but he constantly talks aboutt how his cameras matter. Here is something funny that he put on his site today, poking fun at him and his site.
