Wow, thanks :blush2: here's another one from that set that I thought came out pretty good (pain in the butt holding the camera far enough away for the 50mm to focus - didn't have a tripod w/ me)

    Lookin' good, Erik

I'm still trying to align my commitments so that we can meet up again (for the snake migration).

You bringing the anti-venom right? :p

    Take care.

Boots the cat, eating, while Lightning and I are reflected in the storm door glass.

And yes, I knew the reflection was there, which is why I took it.

At least you have clothes on this time! ;)

Actually I love to take self portraits like that. My wife says I should make a special page on my website just for those types of self portraits.

    thanks, buddy!

I'm working on the dates for this year's spring trip...probably the
last week in april. Looks like a friday through monday for me but you're welcome to join us for any duration...The best anti-venom (and the only one I can afford :D ) is to not get bit! Sage advice in the age of animal planet...

My girlfriend took this for an online photo group on Diviant Art called, iPhotograph. It's not really an SP, but it's too good not to share.

I am holding my 30D. She took the shot with my Powershot A60.

Of course I have clothes on! It was chilli out, and I wasn't in the hot tub. ;-)

A special page on your webstie? I think she just called you narcissistic buddy! :-O

But that's OK, we still love you.

Look at that. Just look at that. I can see lint on the carpet. Wow. You people and your cameras are incredible...

    and funny, too!

I'm working up the nerve to post. This is why I took up photography -- I don't want to be in front of the camera.

    If so, you're succeeding!
