    Scenes from Northern New Mexico
This past weekend I returned to NM to see some old friends and make some new ones. I went back to my old home for a gathering of Passionites from MTBR. I started this gathering last year and my friends took over the organization this year. It was a great time.

The name of the gathering is GITA, which stands for "Gaspin' in the Aspens". after three months at sea level, I was doing that and more. My gaspin was agrivated by my insistance on carrying my 10D on my back. Here's a taste of the images I took.

I'll post a big write up on MTBR in a day or too and link it here so you can see the rest of the images.

    A few more
I don't know what to say here.....pictures taken in Santa Fe, Los Alamos, and Taos. THis trip overlapped with the Albuquerque Balloon Feista. Which had me running from town as fast as I could. Although I saw some germans with huge metal camera cases at baggage claim, with Canon stickers on the sides.

I cannot help but echo Natalie "jelous...beautiful". Your pictures are quite stunning. It really inspires a photographer to actually go out and take the best pictures he can :D .

The cow skull is quite interesting  . I would say though that you might have underexposed it a bit. Perhaps messing with it on the computer would help. Please don't mind my criticism. Great picture anyways. Kind of reminds me of an Eagles album cover ;) . "The Very Best" I think. Keep up the good work :p .

    Hi Brian,

The images look great! When was this? You should have tried to look me up. Though, I may have been suffering in the Swiss alps.....

Maybe I'll get around to posting some pictures from my trip. Or maybe not...

I especially like that last shot of yours. Great color and saturation. I would love to live near Aspen trees. Good job of surviving the high altitude also. I did a stage race in Silver City, NM and one stage ended pretty high up. It was very very painful.
