    Very nice family shots.
The first shot mostly makes me think about how much I hate lazy slobs that won't return a grocery cart and leave them in the middle of parking spaces.

Tyson, I was interested to see your price for unleaded gas. In the western prairies we pay about 96.9 cents a litre (Canada is metric). That translates to about $3.88 a US gallon - ouch - so even with our dollar at par or thereabouts with the US$ these days, you folks are still a bit luckier (don't know if luckier is the correct word).

    Cheers,

I think the hole gas price thing is a gov conspiracy to get young people to join the military and go off and fight their wars. No jobs, join the military. I could be wrong. I remember when gas was 89c a gallon wen I was a kid.

I don't like the gas prices either. But I don't think we'll be getting much sympathy as virtually every industrialized country has been paying a lot more than we were at any given time. I used to travel quite frequently and I know all of Europe, Canada, Japan, and even Mexico had higher gasoline prices. And I say "even Mexico" because the lower median income there translates to extremely high gas prices in comparison to income.

What ever happened to the metric system here in the US? I've been told in grade school that the US was going metric. Now I am about 99% sure that every other country on this planet is already metric

Without giving it all away, I can remember when gas was 0.45 $C for a Canadian gallon which is slightly larger than the American gallon. I guess we have to live with this or stop driving.

When I was a kid I remember Gas was about 25 cents a gallon during a gas war. There was within a quarter mile of my familes house there was 9 gas stations, now there are only two without service bays!

It was .33 when I started unless there was a gas war and then it was .29 and they filled your tank, checked your oil, and washed your windows. If you had a flat on the highway you could get it fixed at any station without making an appointment.
