    Salt Lake Dinner Get-Together

Last Thursday, mtbbrian, WCPilot, and I met for dinner. My brother, who was visiting, also came along. We went to Red Iguana, an awesome Salt Lake City mexican restaurant that specializes in all kinds of mole dishes. It had been quite a while since I'd seen Brian and this was the first time Mike (WCPilot) had met us. I always like meeting community members. It makes the site more personal. I hope we can start putting together a good Salt Lake City crew and maybe getting out to take pictures together. Maybe we can even get a Gathering going in the summer!

    Re: Salt Lake Dinner Get-Together

Here are a couple more. One of my brother gracefully stuffing his face. And one of Brian trying to get me back for taking such flattering photos of him :P

Unfortunately I didn't get any good ones of Mike. I hope Brian and Mike will add some of their own photos to this thread...

    Muahhh Ahh Ahh Ahhh!
    It's All Mine!
    :ihih:   :2:
For the record the film is dated 1997! It will go well with a Holga...
I meant to post some over the weekend, but we had a bit of a unexpected emergency on Saturday.
I'll PM you and tell you more.
    I'll post some pics later.
We should do this more often!
It was good to meet your brother.
    Thanks again for the film!
I have a couple of you and only one of Mike, he was a little harder to get. I LOVE that pic of me, like you said it shows my dark side...

Me too! In addition to it being 11 years old, it's 220. I have never shot 220 in a Holga.
It will require some special handling.

Thanks for posting that link Brian. Don't know when my mouth has watered this much. Sure glad it's time to lock the office door and head for home. Joy has been talking about making enchiladas for a couple of day this may just be the straw that broke the camels back.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Haha, wow, I had a great expression there. I should definitely look at a modeling career. Here's another one from that night. Brian was just a tad bit excited about the "new" film.

Sorry we made you wait, Brian. I'm bad about that.

Thanks for the picture. This is the best photo I've seen of me in quite a while. It needs to be distributed amongst all dating sites. My grandpa's jacket is super cool

Yep, that's it for me. Since I had the awesome new DSLR that I could crank the ISO on, I scoffed at the thought of flash. So there were a bunch of nasty shadows in all the rest of the shots, haha. Point in case, Brian looks longingly at his Corona, and John's brother looks like he's ready to murder me, haha. I didn't shoot nearly as much as you guys did. But the D300 WB was fantastic shot off of my napkin!
