Hi there PR people! It's me, Ruffus! I'm having a bit of a problem logging in right now but Ray said I could use his profile just to let you folks know I arrived safe and sound in Centralia, WA.
As soon as Ray took me out of my package (whew! it got hot in there!) and welcomed me into his home he saw my guitar and asked,
"Ruffus! You play the guitar???"
I replied,
"Duh! Haven't you been following my posts?"
Then behind his skinny bod I noticed he had a Line 6 guitar amp, and quickly realized what was going on in his little head. So off we go into his studio (at least that's what he calls it, *snicker*) and he sets up his AB800 and we proceed to show off my talent.
He was very impressed that I knew how to play YYZ and Hendrix's version of The Star Spangled Banner.
So then we go up to his office (at least that's what he likes to call it, *snicker*) and he gets the crazy idea of placing a psychedelic background behind me to give me that groovy old 70's perspective. I wasn't crazy about the idea at first, but I gotta hand it to him...he's not half bad in Photoshop and I do have to say he made me look pretty cool, I felt like a real rock star (of course, I look cool at any given moment as you all know).
Anyhow, that's it for right now. Ray's gonna go take me out metal detecting with him after dinner. I'm not quite sure what that is yet, but he says not to worry...I'll have fun. We'll see.
But tomorrow we're supposed to go to the Thurston County Fair. Now THAT sounds like fun!
Talk to you all soon.
Ruffus
