Re: Rochester
Nice work with the b+w images, Alex! It's always a favorite with me - love viewing and love shooting in b+w.
They are all excellent shots. I think if I were to choose a favorite, it would be (two) - the Angel (sharp with good contrast), and the last image. I especially like the composition on that one.
Actually make it three! I went back to look at the one below the angel, with the trees and one lone tombstone under a tree - there may be more "loners" in the background - I think I see at least one more. I really like this image - it has a mystique about it. Is this area in the forefront part of the cemetery?
Thanks for sharing. Hope you had a good time while you were there.

Re: Rochester
Very interesting set. I love the sharp sharp focus. How did you digitize the images?

Re: Rochester
Thanks!
I use an Epson V500 scanner, will be upgrading to a v700 so I can finally scan all my 4x5 work.

Always a joy to view your B&W work. Thanks for keeping it alive here on PR.

Re: Rochester
Great set! Love the angel and the lighthouse-from-beneath. Didn't make it down to the flooded subway?

Not this trip, but I have visited the Rochester Subway many times, and it's not all flooded. ;)
