    RIP turkeys

To all in the US: Have a good, safe Thanksgiving. Most importantly, give thanks. We've all got a heck of a lot to be thankful for, even if we don't think so.
To all down under: Happy spring! Lucky stiffs. Snow is predicted in NYC tonight.
    To everyone else: Happy happy!

I'm busily working on an 11-image show at a local restaurant going up in 2 weeks. It's been a busy year - and so far, the last 3rd of it has been spent on the business end, not the creative end of photography. I'm so glad the holiday lights are out! That means it's time to get out the Yashica Mat 124-G and go photographing!

Thanks Megan for us downunder and a Happy Thanksgiving to you all up there in Snow/Winter land. You know there are some of us here that would happily take the snow anytime, just to fill up our dams that are below 40% here in Sydney Catchment Area. They are now thinking along the lines of a Desalination Plant that is going to cost everone $62 on average a year extra, even though only 1/5 of the Sydney area will actually use any water produced from it. Not even a user pays system, but a one and all pays system. It is getting absolutely terrible here with all the road tolls, petrol taxes, garbage taxes etc and now we even have to pay for the infrastructure for someone else to use the water. I think the governments here are in for a rude shock at the next Federal and State elections when they happen in about 2 years time.

Have a good long weekend and happy photography to all.
