Reviews Help?
We made some major upgrades to our review section last night and it appears that some people aren't able to access the new reviews. I would appreciate it if you all would check the reviews section and let me know if you can or can't access the reviews. To make the information more useful, please check only digital camera reviews and try to navigate all the way to a review page. Here's a link to the Browse Reviews page: http://www.photographyreview.com/reviewscrx.aspx
Thanks for your help!

Re: Reviews Help?
You certainly improved the Review section. It looks neat, concise, easy to navigate.
I had no problem getting into the Digital camera section - and from there to the reviews, including user reviews.
One comment: I miss the option to choose a one-brand only section. IOW, I checked out the lenses and had the option for "batch comparison" but not Canon only lenses. Nikon and other comparable lenses followed most Canon lenses, etc. With so many lenses, I didn't want to keep scrolling to find a specific Canon lens. Or am I missing something? This isn't a complaint. Just a comment.

If you look to the left of any category page you'll see all kinds of options for narrowing the number of products listed. One of them is manufacturer. See the area I've circled in red on this screenshot. Once you've limited the list to only Canon lenses, then you can use the comparison check boxes to choose the lenses you want to compare.
Thanks for letting me know that the reviews are working for you.

Re: Reviews Help?
I can access reviews fine, even with FireFox.
Mind you I think I did something wrong.
I did a search for DSLR and then sorted by Price.
That seems to ignore my search and just sorts by price :(
So I get the Coolpix 5700, Lumix LZ2, Dimage Z1 ... in with the DSLRs.
I get a HUGE blank space at the top of a review.
The 20D body only reviews I have a space the height of the review itself.
In front of each review, not just the first.

Re: Reviews Help?
No problem, I looked at 4 MP+, 7MP+, & DSLRS and went to two cameras each without any difficulty!
Seems to be a good change. Somebody has been earning their kibble! Nice work.

Paul-
Thanks for trying it out. We're aware of the Firefox review format problem. It should be fixed within the next couple of hours.
The other problem I hadn't seen yet. I'd call that a bug to be sorted out. Those links to the left should limit the products within the list you've already selected. Thanks for pointing that one out.

Re: Reviews Help?
I got a suprise earlier today when looking for a lens review and come upon the the new look by accident. I had no trouble finding what I was looking for. I was a little like Liz and it took me a little while to be able to narrow my search down but once I did no problems.

I can get to your link, select cameras, digital cameras, and then a subcategory but then when it tries to load the page I get the same error message still.

Re: Reviews Help?
Works beautifully in Safari. Great layout too.

Re: Reviews Help?
I can get to the digital camera reviews. but when I click on a camera to look at the reviews, it takes about 9-10 seconds for the page to load. This is using Windows & Firefox 1.0.7
I do love the new look! From the short time I've been checkin them out today, its been easy to use!

Check it again. We just pushed out a fix for the problem you're having - I think. Fingers crossed...

Re: Reviews Help?
Very nice upgrade! I love the compare feature. As jorgemonkey said, it takes a while for the review page to open up, once I click on "Read Review".
Just out of curiosity, are all of the stores listed when you click on "compare prices", partner stores? Also, where do the ratings for those stores come from? The absense of the bait and switch stores that are so often discussed in the forums is nice to see. :)
