    Quarry Jumping

So on Sunday I went over to the Quarry over in Milford with the intention of taking a few action photos of people jumping from some cliffs.

    I took , My Tamron 70-300 Zoom , and My 1.75X tele-converter

I was on the other side of the quarry at about 75 to 100 yards away.

Where the Kids Jump from, not that I'd ever do that ! ( well at least not from the top! thats a LONG way down ! )

    Girls too

    A little More Style

CANNONBALL!!! That Takes some Kahunas to do that from 70 Feet!

    A little under rotation

A twist on the water entry

Floating through the air ( I love her hair being straight up )

Unfortunately some of the best action shots I won't post , because teh angle I had was awesome , But I didn't notice a Rather Profane Writing on the wall that came out very clearly on the pictures.

Reminds me of that movie that I can't remember the name of for the life of me.
Looks like they had fun and hope they were safe. I like the ones of the girls just going in.
It looks like they are rising out of the water.
As for the ones you don't think you can post, you could clone out or blur out the offensive language.

Looks like fun! Thanks for sharing, splats.

Frog, are you thinking of the movie Breaking Away? It was a cycling movie, but the main characters, a few teenage boys, would go hang out at a quarry and go swimming. That's the only quarry movie I can think of..

Great pictures. Over here we have had some kids die, through "tombstoning" as it's called in shallow or unsafe water.

If this is a safe area to do this, then I think it's great.

The water is Plenty Deep , really really deep 100+ feet deep. and every couple years there is a death there. There was one in 2007 a Kid hit his head then fell into the water and sank, took divers with scuba tanks to retrieve the body.

I think I did a Good job of getting the NSFW out of this one
