Excuse the heavy-handed processing, I was going for romantic/surreal.

Warm image. I like the deep red and yet vibrant tone of the door against the earthy stone colors. The white snow offsets the colors and balances out the blank sky. Looks like the Orton Effect given here . . .appropriate.
I think the white plaque or label on the door could go. . .
    Good stuff

Very nice effect. I don't usually like much pp - but I like what you did to this.

The only nitpik that bothers me is the little white note or whatever on the door. Could you clone it out - or if the subject is close by - take it off temporarily?

Cool image (literally and figuratively). I like the overall effect. Very nice.

Thanks guys. The label on the door... I understand why you suggest it should be removed, but I just can't bring myself to do it. It's how the place was, you know? Granted, with the PP that I did being attached to a sticker for the sake of honest documentation seems silly, and it probably is. Maybe I'll get over it? Either way, it's getting printed.

    I understand buddy.

Someone suggested I clone out a sign on my most popular Cape Lookout image. I refuse to do it because the sign is there. It's part of the landscape. It's in the lower, left of the image.

Just because you can clone it out, why? I liked the image, and what you did with it. Photography to me is like a documentation for history.

I think your heavy handed processing worked really well here. Beautiful colors.

That's exactly my point. I'm starting to think I should change the title to "White label." ;-D

    Speed,

I like that shot, looks very surreal. Screw the sign.

Thanks Jeta. I don't really know why I apologized for it initially, I think I just felt the need to justify it because I hardly ever use that stuff anymore.
