Rebel XT - NYC - first real tryout

I finally got to shoot my new Rebel XT for a whole afternoon. It's similar to the Rebel 300D, but some of the options/features take getting used to. I was basically checking out the quality of the images today. There is nothing exciting here - except that I love this camera. However, I'm happy with the color, image quality, etc.

Here are just a few "snapshots" as I walked around. The sun was VERY bright which made some of my images a bit challenging to get a good exposure.

I also went into the annual "Orchid Show" which was awesome. It was another challenge though, as it was under a see-thru tent, but the lighting wasn't great. I'll post some of the flower shots tomorrow.

Some great shots, and they seem to be comparable to many other entry-level DSLR's! I love the flag one, very reptitive! Nice shooting!

The pics look great. I have a Rebel as well, and am also impressed with the overall quality of it.. The color accuracy i'm also very happy with.. Your pics turned out great, even in the bright sunlight(I hate sunlight lol).. Can't wait to see those orchids! *orchid collecting nut*
