    First for this year!

I was out for a walk at lunch time and came across the first bloom of the year in the back yard. It's pretty early for northern KY but who's complaining.

    First sign of spring

Robins and crocuses (sp?). I love those pretty little flowers.

I'm looking for that first Robin. Last year they arrived early in mid February then we had a massive ice storm. They may have decided to vacation a little longer this year in the sunny climates. You got to love the approach of Spring when the world startes to come alive again. Some great photo opportunities.

Thanks for sharing this welcome photo! Full of hope.....and spring.....I enjoyed viewing these delicate flowers. It's amazing how such a delicate looking flower can rise above the winter cold.
