question on lense type

    question on lense type
    I was at a website where I saw advertised a Canon Digital Rebel coupled with a 28-300 AF lens. I called the number on the site to ask what brand the lens was and they said it was made by CPC. I've never heard of this company. Anybody have any info on this company or this particular lens type, pro or con?

    If memory serves me, you live in Southern CA, correct? If so, would you be interested in going up to the Yosemite Gathering over Memorial Day weekend (May 28-31)?

    Yes, Brian, I do live in so. Cal. And YES I would love to make the Yosemite trip. However, I would only be able to make Friday and Saturday, as I have church on Sundays. But two days of shooting Yosemite would be plenty for me anyway. Sorry I didn't respond before but I don't recall seeing the question. Thanks for asking!
