Pro Hart died in Australia overnight

He is one of Australia's best know modern day artists, who lived not far from the centre of Australia (mostly desert areas there), in a outback town called Broken Hill (a mining town which is fairly large by Australian standards). He was a great character and had an immense presence about him from what people have said, had an amazingly hotch potch type of house and was often painting for days on end.

If you are interested in looking this is a link to his website http://prohart.com.au/ you have to like modern type of art to appreciate his sense of humour and also probably from an Australian point of view as well, although there are many around the world that own his art, unfortunately I could never part with the thousands that his artwork sells for.

Just thought some of the arts people might appreciate knowing and looking at his website.

Wow, though I am not an artsy guy, that guy had a style and talent that I have never seen before. Great work and I would hang this on my wall ;)

Sad to see somebody go with such great artistic flare.

    Thanks for bringing this up.

He died from Motor neurone which for him would have been devastating to say the least.

He had a way with art that not many others had, being able to make something of nearly nothing, even Ants which is one of his most famous art works. It was so big, he cut into 4 pieces I think and sold them for more than he would have gotten for it as one piece. Very astute to say the least.
