Post Number 2000

Hmmm. It seems like just last week I barely beat Another View to 1000. Now he's well past the 3000 mark! Either being a moderator has increased his posting, or he's got way too much time on his hands. Just picking Steve! ;-)

Sorry, I don't have a spectacular landscape, an incredible wildlife, or a stunning supermodel shot for this post. What I do have, is the love of my life, and my favorite subject to photograph. Taken during our family Christmas Party last Saturday. Coolpix 5700 on a tripod with the self timer.

For the same reason, Steve gave. You did not include E. All of the above. It is always nice having that special someone that you know is beside you through thick and thin. And in some of our cases, that will also put up with our madness that we call photography. ;) :D

We saw a tv show the other day at home and a man described his wife as "my queen." My wife said: "awwww," when she heard that. From your postings over the years, I think you manage to bring that attittude every day. So add another option ot the poll, will ya? Call it "Being Prince Charming," or something.

Your reasoning, however, is flawed. I am poor because I work for Carteret County.

I shoot Nikon because I have discriminating taste!

That's why I married a woman who makes a decent income - so she could spoil me and buy me Nikon gear. If I had to support my photography habit on my income, I'd undoubtedly be shooting Canon...

3000 seems as unreal as 2000 did after the first 1000.

But being a cynic, I think it possible that you are the only guy she couldn't whip in 20 seconds!

Thanks buddy, but I did a WHOLE LOT better than her!

She's smart, gorgeous, and nearly 11 years younger than me.

Plus, she spoils me with camera's, lenses, film, etc.

What's not to love?!

And she's not. When we met, we made about the same amount of money (and working for the county, that was not a lot!) But since then, she got her masters, and she's now a Nurse Practitioner. So now she spoils me with photography toys.
