    River Trip

I guess Roger will know where this is
I wasn't even sure, but since we left Gt Yarmouth it must be the Yare.

That looks like a great time, Paul. And that next to last image is funny - sails in the middle of plains, what?! hahaha

    Paul,

Hope you had a really good time.

Looks like the Yare, I assume you left GT Yarmouth going West and then South, toward Burgh, because you have a seal in shot. Otherwise your on the River Bure not likely to have seals up that river. To think that some of the land around there is -1 meter below sea level.

I assume that you have 5 photo's but two of them won't load on my system with either Firefox which I'm about to dump because it keeps hanging, or Chrome.

Oh No, they display in IE drat!

I really like the shot of the group on the back of the boat. Were they singing old sea shanties, from GT. Yarmouth area?

Did you see any of the Wherries that sail the broads, they are really big and impressive looking boats.

    Re: River Trip

It was a weekend organised by the "WherrySmart" group.
No singing, just Jazz. Shanties would have been good, I could join in
Only saw one moored Wherry, none sailing.
We may go back in Summer for a Broads cruise in one of the tupperware boats.
