    Poppy time

    It's poppy time in the garden. The poppies are providing the most color and enjoyment right now.

    Thanks Rick. I posted the second mainly just to give an overall perspective of what the whole bloom looked like.
    Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Wow! Such awesome colors these flowers are. I didn't realize this as I've only seen the Poppy's for fund raising.....

    They are beautiful Liz. This is the first year that Joy's have bloomed and we are really excited about them. They have added a real splash of color for the last week or so.

    Gorgeous! Did you get any of them emerging from the pods?

    Great color! Any of the other other varieties or just the red?

    Thanks for the comment. This is our first year for the poppies and the red was the only variety that Joy planted. I have a couple of the blooms with the pods still attached, but the comp just didn't make it.
