    Thanks, everyone for responding! I think we gave people who are viewing this thread many reasons to take their P&S seriously and perhaps some inspiration as well!

    That waterfall looks familiar. Where did you take that at? Is it down by Galena?

    Yeah Michael...we rent a house up there just above these falls for our family Christmas. Beautiful area. I got some nice shots this year with the Nikon. I'm going to take a trip up there this spring with Kim and her Pentax and get down closer. All of my shots so far have been from the road, but I want to get down on the path below the falls.
