Re: Playing with the tides.
Love the composition, texture, and tone of the first one.

Re: Playing with the tides.
second one does it for me, although it looks friggin' cold...
time to don a wetsuit methinks..
Re: Playing with the tides.
Thanks 3L :) I'm sure it's very cold, though I'm not about to test it out...LOL Surfers are still out there everyday though :D
Re: Playing with the tides.
Aaron,
The bottom one with the waves is gorgeous, its a shame you didn't include a bit more of the wet rock.
and I like the textures and tones in the first.

Re: Playing with the tides.
Nice shots, Aaron! I really like that first one.
I'm guessing the first one is Tmax?
Paul
Re: Playing with the tides.
Thanks Roger and Paul :D
Roger, I thought the same about the wet rock after looking at the negatives. Unfortunately, I was paying a little too close attention to timing a wave at the time :( I'll need to pay closer attention to the smaller details in future compositions.
Paul, you are correct. The top is TMax 100 with the Canonet and the bottom is Plus-X 125 with the Nikkormat EL w/50mm f/2 lens.
Re: Playing with the tides.
Great photos. I really like the second one. Just goes to show us how one can still capture great images on film.
Cheers,

Hey, hey, hey... just because digital is faster and more convenient doesn't mean film is obsolete...LOL
Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you liked the shots :)
