Planning
We went to the Royal Shakespeare Company's costume sale in Stratford-upon-Avon today.
Held in the rehearsal rooms, and I found the walk down the corridor interesting.
They plan the production by wallpaper, literally papering the wall and dividing it off into sections of the process.
I really love this step !
Something that must be in every project plan, and if it takes place at a defined time, and then only minor adjustments follow, it seems like a good thing.

Re: Planning
Thanks for sharing that, Paul. That is an interesting plan documentation system. I wonder if it would be possible to replicate it with software? Or has someone already done it?

Re: Planning
It's just not as accessible with software.
It takes any input, sketches, cartoons, you can link items just by drawing lines.
I haven't seen any software that can match a large piece of paper and some pens.
How much would the monitors cost to cover the walls, with 18-20 steps each this big?
You can walk along the corridor and see the steps in sequence, not flick through them one at a time.
As a planning feedback tool, it works well.
