Pinhole Bahamas
I shot one pinhole roll - didn't get anything too impressive, but this was the best on the roll.

Great shot. Sure you're not being too hard on yourself as far as the rest are concerned?

Pinhole shooting takes some practice. It's always fun pointing a pinhole towards the sun. That rainbow difraction of light is pretty cool. If the sun wasn't in the shot it would just look like a soft picture.
I also like taking advantage of the deep dof. I think my pinhole is 50mm f/200. Basically, everything is equally in/out of focus from inches in front of the lens to infinity and there's no distortion (to the point some say it's extreme distortion). It's fun to set the camera on the ground with something just inches in front of it. It's also often useful to put an object in the shot to give it some perspective. Wthout something for reference, people often can't quite figure it out. I haven't spent enough time at it yet to master it, but I think even the pinhole masters take lots of experiments.
You may want to check out Martha Casanave for some ideas. From our "normal" camera shooting, it takes some imagination to figure out where the camera really is; usually inches in front of the subject.

Megan, really nice image. Very moody. i like the softness, lighting, and even the slanted horizon seems to fit . Good work, what about some of the others?

Megan,
Intersting shot of something I'd usually call cliche if shot with a regular camera!
Well done,

Re: Pinhole Bahamas
Yup. You can't really see anything because I moved or didn't leave it open long enough. Disappointing, really, because I taped the pinhole to the railing of the ship for a long exposure, hoping for an image of Nassau lights rocked up and down, but I was too eager to get back to fruity rum drinks to stay and sit with the camera for longer, so I got a couple of streaks but nothing else!
